From Melanesia, Micronesia, to Polynesia, not forgetting New Zealand, Australia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Japan, and Korea. Then also the countries on the west coast of the Americas.
More than 41 countries have a connection to the Pacific.

What is a Discipleship Training School?
We also offer many secondary Schools, whether you want to study deeper into the Bible, Community Development, Science and Technology, Humanities, or one of many other disciplines.
Youth With a Mission locations in the Pacific offer the opportunity to study outside the Western context and open up new ways of being.

Our locations in the Pacific welcome church teams and individuals to come volunteer at YWAM for development projects and evangelism.

Training
Discovering God’s heart for the Pacific is uniquely powerful through a DTS in the islands. Experience vibrant community, cultural relevance, ocean outreaches, and transformative discipleship right where you live—equipping you to reach Pacific communities with the Gospel in authentic, relational ways.
Outreaches
International DTS teams and church groups from Western countries bring fresh passion, resources, and cross-cultural encouragement to Pacific islands. They partner with local believers, strengthen communities, and model global unity—fueling revival while growing in humility through authentic relational mission.
Staff in the Pacific
Throughout the Pacific, there are many opportunities to join a YWAM Location as staff.
Having completed a Discipleship Training School, the counties of the Pacific have many postions avalable for staff.
All YWAM staff have to be self-funded.
